Our new facility in Darwen, UK, was officially opened by the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Brian Taylor, on 15th October. Over 100 guests attended the event, which featured guided tours of the 60,000 sq ft facility and live demonstrations of AHS-AMP’s equipment.
A highlight of the event was the Marion Wavemix, showcased in the test bay, where it roasted green coffee beans and attracted a number of enquiries from guests in the food processing industries. Several Marion mixers were also on display, illustrating the wide range of sizes, applications and use cases offered by Marion’s innovative solutions.
The new facility not only uplifts the manufacturing efficiency of Marion equipment for AHS-AMP’s UK and EU customers, it also offers increased warehouse space and an enhanced test bay for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
Guests commended the new facility for its cutting-edge design and functionality, with Steve Margison of integratedAIR saying: “The dedication of AHS-AMP staff is evident in the investment in its new facility. Customers and suppliers alike can witness firsthand the impressive advancements in equipment across the range of AHS-AMP’s equipment.
